Party Party Party!

Party Party Party!

We are a small team, often stretched to the limit, but we have big ambitions, and here we are, just eight months after the foundation was set up, with some absolutely brilliant news. We were contacted by Good Era, an organisation that connects businesses and NGOs. They offered us a donation of educational toys, which we can pass on to our partner centres. It’s very hard to find the time to get the work done and talk about it, but if you do, things like this happen.

But the news doesn’t end there. Our Lafetki are having a party! Bar Atelier can accommodate 30–50 people — cosy, warm, with refreshments. If you want to be there, hurry up and get your tickets, because places are limited and we don’t want it to be like on the 204 bus. And if we get enough people together, next time we’ll go bigger.

We’ll soon be sharing an interview with a young person who grew up in a foster care centre — a true story, told in his own words. Because we believe that change begins with understanding. And because these voices deserve to be heard.

You can support our campaign directly via our website and receive a pack from the first print run of Lafetki — just 100 copies, packed by young people from the residential centres. There’s something very special about holding the ‘first edition’ in your hands. Join us — at the party, on the website, or simply with your words. Every bit of support counts.
